My name is Debbie. I am an OFSTED registered Childminder, I am also a member of NCMA - the National Childminding Association.

I am delighted to say that I was graded Outstanding in six areas and Good in eight areas, giving me an overall 'GOOD' during my inspection, March 2009

Location and Home Life

I am in South Birmingham in the Kings Norton and Kings Heath area, close to Parsons Hill and just off Bells Lane.

I am married with 6 year old and 1 year old little boys. I have worked in the Travel Industry for over 20 years and after being made redundant I decided to become self employed as a Registered Childminder

I do have a dog, she is an 9 year old white Boxer dog. She in fact was page 3 in the Evening mail when she was only 1 year old as she saved my life. She is typical of the breed in that she is lively when she meets people then she calms down. We say that she sleeps 23.5 hours a day, eats 15 minutes and you can guess the other 15 minutes. She is very protective of any children that I care for. She was psychologically assessed for social services from when we went through the adoption process on what her temperment is like.

I am currently learning baby sign language and BSL1
